Tradesmen Required for Brisbane Flood Rebuilding
If you've been watching any of the recent coverage you'll have heard the calls for tradies needed here in Brisbane and elsewhere following the recent flooding. Given the devastation there is going to be huge demand for tradies of all sorts, whether it's through volunteer work or the millions of dollars worth of insurance work that will be up for grabs over the coming year or two. In demand will be carpenters, electricians, plumbers and all sorts of other workers. One of the busiest trades will be plasterers, with thousands of homes requiring repaired or replaced walls and ceilings. Master Builders is currently putting together a database of builders and trade contractors who are interesting in quoting on and performing working on flood damaged properties. If you would like to register please complete the registration form located on the Master Builders website. Master Builders have also put together this fact sheet which provides guidelines for working on flood damaged premises If you need any advice on your insurance, especially for interstate tradies who need to check the insurance requirements here in Qld, please call us on 1800 744 482 and we'll be happy to help wherever we can. NOTE: Trade Risk is not coordinating any of the flood work nor do we have any involvement in the rebuilding, but if you require assistance with regards to your business insurance we are here to help. NOTE: Trade Risk is not associated with Master Builders Qld. Their logo is used simply to identify their involvement in the flood registration process. |
